Challenged is a word that is politically correct and used to mean things more like disabled. However, the truth is that big challenges do feel disabling. I want to build into all these sections as time passes. Many health care professionals wrote handbooks, blogs, articles and there are just as many people who will tell you only to listen to some qualified professional. This idea that others know best what you need should be treated very carefully because the whole idea of recovery is knowing how to take care of ourselves. We have to evaluate possibilities including medical advice, psychological advice, friends advice and even our own bias towards our opinions, or the authority of others.
